Dear Neighbor,

My name is Dr. Stephanie Ganaway-Pasley, and North Charleston is my home.   I have a MA in Counseling with a concentration in mental health, BS in Psychology, PhD in Psychology.

I was raised by a proud Air Force veteran who taught me the values of duty,service, and integrity. Those values have guided me through every chapter of my journey, from serving our community as an educator and mental health advocate to being appointed your Summary Court Judge. On the bench, I was known for being firm but fair. My track record earned the trust of the State, which asked me to train other judges. That kind of responsibility isn’t given lightly—it’s earned through consistency, character, and commitment. Time and again, you’ve trusted me to serve this community, and I’ve delivered.

Right now, we’re at a turning point. Many of us feel let down by leaders who’ve put their own interests before ours. Corruption has crept into our government, and we’re paying the price. We deserve better, and yet, the trust between the people and those in power has been fractured, and our quality of life is on the line.

That’s why I’m stepping up—because I know we can fix this, together. With your support, I will bring the same integrity, fairness, and hard work I’m known for to the City Council. I’m running for North Charleston City Council in the May 27 special election. I’m not running to build a career—I’m running to build a stronger, safer, and more just North Charleston.
